Per the Georgia Department of Education's Financial Management for Georgia Local Units of Administration (FMGLUA) Manual, which is a comprehensive manual that provides accounting and financial reporting principles for local educational agencies (LEAs), monthly financial reports should be presented at regularly scheduled public board meetings to maintain transparency and accountability.
