NOTE: Starting in January 2018, the current Catoosa Root Cert (v2) will be retired. V3 of the root cert must be used starting on that day. Please install both certificates if you reach this page before January 2018.
These instructions are based on version 4.1 of Android. Other versions may display different prompts. Use either the builtin Android browser or Google Chrome for these steps. If you use Firefox for Android, you will also need to follow the Firefox instructions to install the certificate in that browser.
1. Tap on the certificate files below:
catoosa_ca_v3.der (Version 3 that will be required starting January 2018)
2. Give the Certificate a name, we recommend CCPS and tap OK.

FireFox
NOTE: Starting in Janurary 2018, the current Catoosa Root Cert (v2) will be retired. V3 of the root cert must be used starting on that day. Please install both certificates if you reach this page before Janurary 2018.
These are step-by-step instructions for installing the CCPS Root Certificate into Mozilla Firefox.
1. Click on the certificate files below:
catoosa_ca_v3.der (Version 3 that will be required starting Janurary 2018)
2. Select the first option "Trust this CA to identify web sites" then click OK.

3. Restart Firefox for the changes to take affect.
Internet Explorer
NOTE: Starting in Janurary 2018, the current Catoosa Root Cert (v2) will be retired. V3 of the root cert must be used starting on that day. Please install both certificates if you reach this page before Janurary 2018.
These are step-by-step instructions for installing the CCPS Root Certificate into Microsoft Internet Explorer.
1. Click on the certificate file below:
catoosa_ca_v3.der (Version 3 that will be required starting Janurary 2018)
2. In the File Download dialog box, click "Open".

3. On Windows 7 machines, you may see the following warning. Click allow.

4. Click on "Install Certificate"

5. In the Certificate Import Wizard, click "Next"

6. Choose the option "Place all certificates in the follwoing store" then click "Browse".

7. Select the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" then click "OK".

8. Click "Next".

9. Click "Finish"
10. Click "Yes" to install the certificate.

11. Click OK to acknowledge the certificate import.

12. Restart Internet Explorer to ensure the completion of the certificate import.
iOS

1. Tap on the certificate file below:

2. In the install profile window, tap on Install.

3. In the warning box about an unvarified profile, tap Install.

4. If your device has a passcode/lockcode enter it and tap Done.

5. Tap Done on the profile installed screen.

Mac OS X

Users of the CCPS Network, mainly the BYOT network, should install the CCPS Root Cert to insure fewer errors when browsing the web. Directions for installing the certificate are available for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Android, iOS and Mac OS X. Chrome browser users on Windows should first open IE and use it to complete the IE steps.
